"We need to innovate and respond to rapidly changing requirements..."

"Great projects in the health service don’t just deliver on time, they save people’s lives..."

"Every university or college student could benefit from a basic understanding of project management..."

"Public sector change programmes need to demonstrate measurable improvements in their business operations..."

Making project management accessible to everyone…

Projects in Plain English is for anyone who has a part to play in a project, whether you’re involved in a major public sector change programme or a fast moving tech startup. It aims to demystify a discipline that’s  notorious for jargon and other obscure language.

Great projects don’t just deliver on time and within budget, they improve people’s lives. So our aim is to help you to make sense of all aspects of project management. We want you to work creatively and with confidence to deliver great projects.

To achieve this we use plain English, language that’s simple and direct but not simplistic. It’s not about banning new words or promoting rigid grammatical rules. We just try to be clear and concise.
